Another World Hostel Sigiriya

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Sigiriya. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They even brought me little snacks and delicious juice throughout the day. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main attractions. The tents were new, clean, and equipped with lights and power. I loved the attention to detail and the comfortable vibe of the place.

No complaints, everything was perfect during my stay.

They even helped us with bookings and transport arrangements. the hostel had a great vibe, with clean rooms and bathrooms. the communal areas with plants and seats were perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed the delicious food, both at breakfast and dinner. We also met some wonderful people during our stay. Cons: Liked everything about Another World! 😊.

Unreliable outside restaurants.

I had the most wonderful stay at Another World in Sigiriya. The location is perfect, with Sigiriya just a short walk away and a fine view of the Lion Rock from the hotel. The family who runs the place is kind and helpful, ensuring that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean and cozy, with all the necessary amenities like hot showers and running water. The food, prepared by Mallika, was delicious, and the breakfast was a highlight every morning. The father, Nieel, was an excellent guide and spoke English and German fluently. The son, Malith, was not only a fantastic driver and guide, but also a talented photographer and project designer. Thanks to Malith, I was able to explore all the beautiful places in Sigiriya and had a blast with his friends. my experience at Another World was excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable and secure accommodation in Sigiriya.

I had the pleasure of staying at Another World for a few nights during my trip. From the moment I arrived, the owner Chandu and his friend Brayan treated me like family. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with tips on how to explore the area and even organizing a bonfire in the evening. The hostel itself was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a stunning garden with unique traditional statues. The view of Lion Rock from the garden was an absolute highlight. The staff, including Mallika, Neil, Bhagya, and Malith, were all amazing. I highly recommend trying the delicious Roti with coconut salad and curry. Malith, the safari driver, is also a fantastic guide who provided me with a unique experience in the national park. Another World truly exceeded my expectations and is definitely the best place I've stayed in Sri Lanka.

Noisy guests disturbed sleep at times.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in a quaint village surrounded by nature. The value for money was exceptional, with comfortable rooms and attentive staff. The location was perfect, being in the center of the village and close to the jungle. I particularly enjoyed staying in one of their tents, where I fell asleep to the soothing sounds of the jungle. The hotel also provided basic amenities and offered rooms with AC, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast was fantastic, with fresh and homemade options that were served whenever I desired.

I couldn't find a single thing that was not okay during my stay.

Chandu, our guide and driver, provided us with valuable advice and detailed information about Sigiriya. He took us on an unforgettable sunrise tour to Pidurangala Rock and a remarkable visit to the national park, where we saw numerous elephants. Chandu's knowledge and simple English made him not only a driver but also a fantastic guide. The camp tents were comfortable and had a unique stinging roof that kept us cool and protected from the rain. The private and shared bathrooms were clean, and the delicious food and refreshing drinks added to our delightful stay. Additionally, the location of the camp was conveniently close to the main town.

For families with children, it would be great if Another World Sigiriya offered more kid-friendly activities.

Guests can stay in comfortable, spacious tents surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. The friendly staff provides excellent service, offering free tours and cooking classes. The chill out area with hammocks is a perfect place to relax after exploring the nearby attractions. Guests can also enjoy a delicious breakfast and take advantage of the convenient location in the center of the village.

One minor drawback is the lack of hot water in the showers. However, considering the affordable price and other excellent facilities, it is a minor inconvenience.

Some nearby outside restaurants had poor food quality, so it's best to be cautious and check the cleanliness of the kitchens before dining there.

Another World: A garden paradise with delicious food, friendly staff, and the chance to meet fellow travelers. The view of the wildlife range is stunning. My dorm was so cozy, especially with a dining area, AC, and a fancy tile floor.
